Teaching

Daniel Weishaar teaching

My teaching spans public economics, optimal taxation, and applied microeconometrics, alongside introductory courses in microeconomics and macroeconomics for both economics students and students from other disciplines.

My approach connects rigorous theory to empirical implementation: students work through how economic models translate into sufficient statistics and, ultimately, policy-relevant estimates. This includes hands-on programming exercises in R, Stata, and Python, with all code and teaching materials openly available on GitHub.
